WARRANTY MIRROR CABINETS & BLACK SPOT ON MIRRORS

Tuscani Warranties: What's Covered and What's Not (1-Year Warranty)
Tuscani warranties cover product defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase or delivery. However, certain conditions are not covered, including the following:

  • Rust on hinges and tracks: Normal wear and tear, such as rust on hinges and tracks, is typically not covered under warranty. For optimal performance and longevity, we recommend proper cleaning and maintenance of these parts.

  • Dents and scratches caused by impact damage: Due to the nature of bathroom environments, our warranty does not cover dents and scratches resulting from impact with objects such as pails or cleaning tools.

For any questions regarding our warranty policy, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Understanding Black Spots on Mirrors

  1. What are black spots?
Black spots on mirrors can occur due to degradation of the reflective backing, moisture ingress, or contaminants. These aren’t always manufacturing defects and can result from environmental factors or improper care.

  2. Common Causes

  • Moisture: High humidity can affect the mirror edges or areas with water accumulation.

  • Cleaning Products: Harsh chemicals (like ammonia or bleach) may damage the mirror and cause black spots.

  • Aging: Silver-backed mirrors can degrade naturally over time, especially around the edges.

  1. Care & Maintenance Tips

  • Use only mild, non-abrasive mirror cleaners.

  • Never spray directly onto the mirror—apply cleaner to a cloth instead.

  • Always dry the mirror thoroughly after cleaning.

  1. What if Black Spots Appear?

  • Try a mirror restoration product.

  • For major spots affecting visibility or aesthetics, mirror replacement might be necessary.

  1. Documentation & Support
If your mirror develops black spots, even if excluded from warranty, document the issue (photos + description). Contact the manufacturer or seller for support or advice, and keep records of all correspondence.
