BATH & SHOWER MIXER / RAINSHOWER MIXER INSTALLATION TIP

BATH & SHOWER MIXER / RAINSHOWER MIXER INSTALLATION TIP

British Standard (BS) Bath & Shower Mixer Tap Spacing

When installing a bath or shower mixer, the spacing between the hot and cold-water inlets is critical.

Standard Size (British Standard):
• 6 inches (approx. 150mm) centre-to-centre between hot and cold inlet pipes
• Commonly followed in both the UK and Singapore for wall- or deck-mounted bath/shower mixers

Installation Tip:
• Ensure bathtub holes or wall outlets are spaced exactly 150mm apart
• Slight spacing errors? Use eccentric connectors to adjust

Common Mistake to Avoid:
Many customers purchase bath mixers online without checking spacing standards—leading to fitting issues or unexpected plumbing costs.
