CLEANING MATERIALS FOR STAINLESS STEEL

CLEANING MATERIALS FOR STAINLESS STEEL

  • Stainless steel does not rust — just like your knives, forks, and spoons!
So when you notice rust spots on your sink, they’re not from the sink itself. They’re caused by foreign iron particles (like drill dust from renovation work) that have settled on the surface and begun to rust.

    A classic example:
Think of the rusty paper clip mark on the corner of old documents kept in a cupboard.
We wouldn’t say the paper is rusting — the clip is! Similarly, the rust marks on your sink are from outside contamination, not the sink material.

    SOLUTION

    1. Wet the sink completely.

    2. Apply CIF cream detergent.

    3. Gently polish the rusty area using a soft cloth (such as the orange type used for washing cars).

      • Water acts as a lubricant for the powder in CIF.

    4. Do not use rough cloths — they may scratch the surface.

    5. Avoid sponges — they’re too soft to remove the marks effectively.

    Important:
Rusting issues are not covered under warranty, as proper maintenance instructions have been clearly provided for use during installation and daily care.
